When & Wear: Pinterest

This morning was one of those mornings where it seems like there is nothing in my closet. I will say that one of the causes is the small heap of clothes sitting on my chair that has amounted over a very busy week and a half, but I think I was mostly just in need for inspiration.

So in an attempt to inspire myself here are a few of my favorite pictures I've seen on Tumblr and Pinterest lately. I'm loving all the fur vests and all black combos I've been seeing. Soft tousled hair and dainty jewelry seem to be the perfect addition to any outfit. And of course any sort of golden retriever picture makes me miss my puppies even more!

Also, I promise to have a November 20 Under $25 post up soon! I've found some great pieces for the post!

I don't know about you but every summer I get re-addicted to Pinterest. During the school year I try not to go on Pinterest and tumblr because they become the best procrastination tools. However, in the summer I can easily spend an hour scrolling through all those pretty pictures. Lately I've been obsessing over fall classics including neutrals, leather, ankle boots, and cozy sweaters.

{Pictures from my tumblr and Pinterest}

The New England way is definitely the nautical way. After spending the last six years of my life in New England I've been sucked in to classic oceanside style that can be seen on pretty much everyone on the Cape and the islands this time of the year. Every year around the Fourth of July I get bit by the nautical bug and classic blue and white stripes are all I want to wear. While I won't be going on this year I plan to make the most of my fourth of july by bringing the nautical spirit to my small town with some fireworks and barbecuing!

I used to have a serious addiction to Pinterest, but recently I've been spending much more time on Tumblr and other blogs. Sometimes Pinterest can get a little repetitive I can only see so many hair tutorials and recipes before I need to switch it up.

However, yesterday on Pinterest I came across a gem in a sea of duds. Daily Chic is a online shop that has perfect pieces for spring. From semi-formal dresses to patterned pants anything you could want for the upcoming months is on this site. I love the models who are shot in the clothes and the accessories that they add (which are also on the site).
