Summer holidays have always been some of my favorite days of the year. Not only do you get the day off school or work, but a back yard barbecue or day at the beach is basically my heaven. Even better is the fact that I can break out all my red, white, and blue pieces without anyone giving me weird looks.
This year Memorial Day was a bit of a wash out, so I'm crossing my fingers that the 4th stays sunny. While my plans aren't entirely figured out, I will be heading out to Long Island for a bit to stay with a friend and get some much needed fresh air. I can almost guarantee my look for the 4th will consist of denim shorts and a striped top, but I've been tempted by a few dressier pieces like this romper or this blouse.
