This morning reality hit when my alarm started blaring what felt like less than an hour after I went to bed. My alarm was a pretty harsh reminder that the weekend was over, which was especially sad since this has been one of the best weekends I've had in New York in a while.
While I love my job at school a little time off on Sunday to celebrate Easter and explore the city was very needed. It was sad not being home for one of my favorite holidays, but my friends and I made up for it by going to brunch and exploring Central Park.
I wore this dress with my favorite blazer to church, but then decided to change into something a little more casual for brunch at Palma in the West Village. This restaurant was probably the cutest place I've been since moving to the city and I'm already counting down the days when I can go back for real brunch (for Easter they had the dinner menu all day). I will say the pasta was incredible as well though. After brunch we headed up to Central Park to soak in a little bit of sun and explore parts of the park we had never been to before. All in all it was the perfect Sunday and I'm not exactly ready to let it go.
Hope you all have a great start to the week!
Love the outfit! The blazer definitely pulls it all together!

Sounds like a wonderful Easter sunday (even if it was away from family.) I love your outfit, especially the pale blue blazer. I have never been much of a blazer person, but I think I need to add one or two to my closet. I feel like they are such a key piece to a well rounded wardrobe. Palma looks like the most adorable restaurant, I will have to check it out next time I am in the city!
ReplyDeleteThanks Nan! I love both casual and dressier blazers because they are seriously the easiest piece to make jeans and tee look pulled together. Definitely check out Palma. It was perfect!
