It's finally Friday! I couldn't be happier for it to be the weekend since I've got plenty of fun planned with my sister over the next couple days. Of course we have Saturday morning brunch planned at my favorite spot with an after packed full of things before she goes home Sunday morning.
On a completely unrelated note, this beautiful picture has been constantly reminding me of the tragedy that has befallen my favorite striped tee. My black and white striped boat neck tee (that was completely perfect in every way - can be seen here) got stained by pizza sauce and is beyond repair. I've tried everything but the stain just isn't coming out. Not having my go-to neutral striped option in my closet has already been hard, so of course I'm searching for the new perfect striped tee. Check out a few of them below!
A few things I've been loving this week...
The knot trend for spring seen on Who What Wear. No need to tie a shirt/jacket around your waist when the knot is already built into your skirt.
The College Prepster's post about making the most of Sundays has had me rethinking the way I spend the last few hours of my weekends.
While I'm not getting an apartment anytime soon I'm always searching for NYC rentals (West Village dreaming) and I love these easy ways to upgrade a more budget friendly apartment.
I'm a little bit obsessed with Sophia Webster's shoe collection for J.Crew, but Hallie from Corals + Cognacs definitely wins in the most excited category with her post about the collaboration.
Perfect trendy spring skirts for under $50 that are making me want to go on a serious shopping spree. Do these great deals still count if I buy five skirts?
Hope you all have a great weekend!
I hope that you have a wonderful weekend with your sister in town, how fun! Oh my goodness I feel your pain about missing your favorite striped tee. I had a wonderful 3/4 sleeve striped t-shirt from J.Crew that was my go to, it got to be so soft and wonderful, but then its life came to end with a terrible bleach stain... There are so many stripe tee options out there, so I always try to go for comfort, I find that the tees I wear the most are the ones that are soft and cozy! I hope that you are able to find another (or a few) great replacements. Happy Weekend!
ReplyDeleteHow I love this little imperfect side bun.. :)
ReplyDeleteMy favorite striped 3/4 blouse, which served me for long time as an anytime anywhere savvy outfit choice had a fell behind a tragedy lately as well.. I accidentally put into laundry whites, and blue shorts that I was sure won't leave color as they were old.. but, what a surprise, all the laundry came back with cute cloudy blue stains. Didn't find yet the same perfect fit striped shirt.. that one was from H&M.
